i recently learned that the age old sva figure drawing workshop (40+ years!?) is shutting down. there will be other places, but this one has been part of my life in NYC, and will be missed. special thanks to peter heinemann for his dedication, organization, and yelling at the new and unsuspecting folks :)

some bamboo and ink messes from wednesday night figs. i have missed way too many figure drawing sessions this fall, as opposed to the amazing and dogged gb tran, who currently has a perfect attendance record (are you happy now? jerk).

nothing like kicking the tires on a new season of figure drawing. some pen, some pencil, a hint of watercolor, and some ink and bamboo (good suggestion, josh). some of these are tough to look at, you've been warned.
