installment number two of mr. iphone, this slate article discusses the difficulties, benefits, and joys of unlocking your iphone. with all this chatter about the iphone jailbreak, apple locking it down, the jailbreak continuing, etc, etc, i still get a laugh every time someone talks about bricking the jesus phone. the term itself makes me laugh, more succinct than 'doorstop', and more interesting than 'paperweight', bricking is just great, especially after you have bricked your $399 techno wonder (ed. note: likely not fun for brickee).
